Project Reconnect National Conference
Parkes 28th - 30th May 2010
We are very excited to be holding Project Reconnect's first Conference. Everyone involved with Project Reconnect will be invited to attend. This includes users of PR (present, past and those considering to use it), partners who help in the production (ie filming, singing, messages, children's messages etc), resource personnel wishing to utilise PR and of course the PR team that make it all happen. The conference will commence with registration and gathering together from 11:30am on the Friday and will conclude after lunch on Sunday.
This will be a tremendous opportunity to bring together everyone involved with PR to enable the sharing of ideas and experiences to help make PR a more effective resource. Funding has been received to subsidise the travel. Please refer to the brochure for more details or contact Kingsley. Billeting will also be available to reduce the costs for attendees. The cost of the conference is $80 which covers meals (except for Saturday night).
The conference will give opportunity for:

Feedback to PR team to enable growth and development
·
Gaining and sharing of ideas and skills between users, team and partners to
better utilise PR
·
Assisting users to have a more worthwhile understanding, teaching and exposure
to the theology of their worship experience
·
Sharing of ideas to develop the overall life of their church and individual
faith journeys
·
Promoting a sense of community and belonging among PR users, especially those
in isolated and remote areas
·
Providing feedback and interaction between users and presenters to help them
better understand their audience
